They're Gone

It happened 15 minutes ago.
The last of the workmen left.
Our house is now officially ours again.
The TV is re-connected.
My boys gave a cheer (they may have even shed a tear).
OK, back to real life!

Our recent vacation to California was quite an adventure.
We started in San Jose visiting Martin's family. While we were there we took the boys to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for some scuba diving.  They have a program for kids that is really great.  Martin's sister, Cristine, met us there and we spent some time catching up.
They have to go to class first.

Then they suit up.

Their instructor takes them out into a small bay and they dive for nearly an hour.  They see some really cool things.
This is as close as we could get to the creatures.
This guy looks too much like a spider. Ewwww.
While the boys played, Martin and Cristine caught up.
After the dive, we went out to lunch and then re-entered the aquarium to see the exhibits.
 The boys loved the Orca.
 Isn't this guy cool?
The colors of nature amaze me.
These sardines swam in one giant school.  So much more to see there.  Well worth the drive and the boys loved it.
Back tomorrow with a trip to the beach!
