 One of Martin's constant worries has been the window coverings in our house - or the lack of.

 He left town last Sunday for a business trip and got home last night.  I thought I would surprise him and move forward with the curtains.  My friend, Marlena, is a curtain maker by trade, so I have employed her to perform miracles in my house.  Here is the master bath window that every person on our block can see into before the window treatment went up.

Here is the beautiful curtain after the installation.  We were on our last screw when Martin walked in.  He was so tired he really didn't notice.

Martin leaves again on Monday for Taiwan and China and will be gone for nearly two weeks.  I'm hoping to have the Master Bedroom and Family Room/Kitchen complete by then.
