Rabbit Food

I love carrot cake - but only if it's GOOD carrot cake.  Over the years I've tried to find  that one good recipe, because, let's face it:  This is Martin's favorite cake!  I've had at least a dozen fails and about the same amount of  "It's oks."  A while back I came across a recipe that I said I was going to try, and not until I finally pulled it out did I realize it was from everybody's favorite - Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman.  What I like most about the cake is the bundtness of it.  Who doesn't like bundt cake?  So easy.  Am I right?
Then I made the frosting.  The frosting is now my favorite part. More than the bundt part.
I had to post two pictures because the frosting is so good it has to be mentioned twice.  It is a pecan cream cheese loveliness that cannot even be described.
It passed the test.  Both Martin and I loved it.  And get this - both of my children asked for seconds.  It's a miracle!
You get two pictures of the miracle.  Just because it is.  Now, run away and make this cake.  You will thank me.  Well, actually, you will thank Pioneer Woman.  Just like I did.
