Been gone for a few days with all the end of school activities. Monday was Field Day. Hayden's grade was in the morning. Henry's grade was scheduled for the afternoon.
I planned well for a day out in the sun - little make-up, hair in a ponytail and camera.
Just as things were winding down in the AM, the rain hit - and I mean thunderstorm rain.
Got these pictures in before everyone ran inside. They cancelled the upper grades and sent us home. Re-scheduled for Tuesday.
Came back Tuesday afternoon - showered, dressed, coiffed - running to catch the end of Henry's activities.
Because storm weather was hanging around it was 90 degrees-plus, with lots of humidity. Lovely.
Field Day(s) was enjoyed by all! No rain util 8:00 that night. And what a storm it was! Tornado sirens and a tense 45 minutes until the storm passed. Crazy.
