V-day Eve

 Yesterday was Valentine's Eve.  My friend Marlena and I got together to make our teacher gifts.  We started with these Chocolate Sprinkle Spoons.

 Next, we took the plunge with these dipped Twinkies.

 And what is Valentine's Day without pink Rice Krispie Treats held together with homemade marshmallows?  Didn't get pictures, but we cut them into heart shapes with cookie cutters.

 They look great packaged.

One of the last things I did last night was help the boys put their Valentine's together for their class parties.  I was utterly in shock when Henry bought into my idea for his cards this year.  He posed for at least a dozen photos and here is how they turned out.

 

 He helped me with the printing, the hole punching and inserting the sucker.  Not one word of complaint.  Hmmm, I'll take that.

After I got the boys to bed, I went back to Marlena's and we made the gift tags for the teacher gifts.  When I got home I played Valentine Santa and put out the boxes of chocolates I got for the boys (Martin included).  I don't know why, but they get crazy excited when they see those boxed chocolates.  

I think we are ready for the day of love!
