Hayden had his Meet the Teacher tonight at his new elementary school. He is now in the fourth grade and has Mrs. Johnson for his home room teacher. She teaches Science and Math.
He also has Mr. Shelley for his Writing teacher. Mr. Shelley looks like a super hero. He's buff. He grabbed Hayden's neck and gave him a squeeze. Hayden said he could still feel it when we got home.
His third teacher is Mr. Palmentero. He's Italian and he teaches Reading. Hayden has never had a man teacher before. He is looking forward to it.
I think I was relieved more than anyone. His last few years have been difficult and this new school just felt right. Keep your fingers crossed! Mine are.
