Our Canton Caper

Rochelle and I spent a full day of quality time at the outlet mall and the downtown "Square" here in McKinney before we headed out for another day of power shopping in Canton, TX.  I can only describe it as the greatest Flea Market I've ever been to, which really doesn't do it justice, because there are so many great things going on there, it's beyond description.  Just look at this great idea - quilt squares in an old window pane.
We found lots of collectibles. Don't these just bring back memories?
If only this chair would have fit in our shopping cart, I would be sitting on it right now.
 Burlap curtains.  Uh. huh.
 These headbands are everywhere.
I would never have thought to paint an old door up for Halloween.

And on and on it goes.  We were there for most of a day and totally revived the Texas economy.
On the drive home, Rochelle got a hankering for ice cream.  We stopped at a road side stand in the middle of a field that was selling fresh peach and strawberry ice cream.
Check out their set-up.  Definitely homemade.

We had a great time.

I'll leave you with a few more pumpkin photos from our Arboretum afternoon.  Too many pumpkins to go in one post.

Enjoy!
