Afterthought

Look at these funny little things.  I made homemade ice cream for a Relief Society Activity.  I can do that, you know, because we have a very small ward and our activities are small and quite cozy.  I made some drizzle hearts as garnishes.  Half in dark chocolate, half in reddish candy melts - vanilla flavored.

There was extra.  I searched the pantry.  Ah, stale marshmallows.  They weren't rock-hard yet, but on the crunchy side.  I drizzled them.  Very sillily.  The boys came into the kitchen and I suggested they try them.  Hayden said, "Mom, this is the best thing you have ever made marshmallow-related."  I guess it is a winner.  I tasted them and, you know,  he was right.  The warm drizzle softened the marshmallows a bit but left a little crunchiness and they. were. fabulous.

Next time - unstale marshmallows.
