Going To The Fair

I have taken my boys to the McKinney Trade Days since they were little.  It is a once a month flea market a mile or two from our home.  Martin returned home from Taiwan last night and I knew he needed to sleep off his jet lag, so I loaded up the boys to take them to "the Fair".  They've always called it that.  We braved the 100 degree weather and actually had a great time eating fair food and searching out some great antiques among other things.
These tea cups sets were $3 and $4 each.  Some great Pyrex bowls in the background.
I thought this bird cage was charming.
Look at these grandma gloves.  They are crocheted!
I love this cake carrier.  It's a little beat up, but the artwork is sweet.
 Remember these?
 Lots of cookie jars.
I don't often find sewing stuff, but this gal had a few fun things.
Check out this old quilt.  It was in reasonable shape.
Here is my favorite find of the day.  She's so unique.  Sadly, I didn't purchase anything.  The boys each got a pair of sunglasses and a hot dog and some nachos.  Hopefully, I'll have a chance to go back next month.  Anyone care to join me?
