Ok, I started this "easy" quilt months ago. It was considered "beginner" in the magazine. I needed a beginner project. It looked simple. I cut it out and figured it out lickety split. I started sewing, then I noticed that some of the squares seemed out of line. I seriously started checking it over. Ugh - problems. I put it away for a few days and came back to it. Couldn't pin point the problem. I walked away. It has been several months now. I got it out and looked it over . . . a little. I brought it downstairs so I could look at it and remind myself to solve. the. problem. It has been two weeks and today I finally gave in. (What is wrong with me?) I laid it out on my bedroom floor. To my surprise, there are a few discrepancies, but none big enough to rip it apart. Why do I do this to myself. I have wasted a huuuuuuge amount of time. What starts out as a one week project has turned into nearly six months. AHHHHHHH! Someone save me from myself!
Oh no. And I'm very jealous that you will be going to Bloom. Tell Kendi I sent you. And I'm sure she will be happy to take your Amex. I wish I were there to go with you.
