A Letter

Dear Summer,

You are kicking my a**.  We haven't even gone on an actual family vacation yet and I feel like I have been run over by something large and may not recover.

Yes, fun has been plentiful and everyone has enjoyed a camp or two, but I feel like my car's driver seat has been welded to my butt.

I will thank you for keeping the temperature under control and for the many rain showers we have had, although this last week of 100 degree+ temperature filled with sweat-inducing humidity has caused me to shriek like an uncontrolled cave woman.

Please, Summer, be kind these last three weeks and gradually restore my sanity.  Idaho should be a great place to do that.  We will be there on Friday.  Feel free to slow it down a bit.

Thanks for listening.  Hope your summer's going well too.

  1. I hear you completely (But, I'm not sure if Summer will). I'm hoping time goes a bit slower in Idaho too. I will be there this coming week. :) If you need cousin time, give me a jingle.
